Please feel free to request a later check-out time prior to your arrival, and we will do our best to accommodate. However, please understand that we may not be in a position to grant, depending on that day’s schedule. We cannot honour requests for a late check-out made on the day of departure.

Cancellation Policy: Fully refundable 7 or more days in advance of checkin. (i.e. for a checkin on a Friday, cancellation to be made by 11:59 pm the previous Friday). Cancellations within the seven days or no shows are subject to a property fee equal to 100% of the total amount paid for the reservation.

Your well-being comes first. You can cancel your booking via the email you received upon booking. Look for the ‘Cancel your reservation’ link. In a worst case you can contact us, and we can find a new booking date that suits you.
Not to worry! It is automatically taken from the card you check in with. We charge the deposit amount on booking and the balance on check-in.
During the spring, summer and fall months we are very busy and do not offer discounts. In the offseason, we factor in discounts in the hotel rates. Check back regularly for ongoing promotions.
We have a dedicated spot reserved for each room. The parking lot is located one block away from Edison’s Inn (approximately a 2-3 minute walk). A spot will be assigned to you in your Check-in Guide, which will be emailed to you the morning of check-in.

Yes! All of the rooms are equipped with air conditioning.
The Music Suite and Edison’s Room are on the second floor. The Swan Suite is halfway up the second level. There is no elevator in the building.
Please be aware that our stairs can be challenging for guests with mobility concerns. These rooms do require climbing stairs. If this is a concern, please contact us before booking to discuss options! 🙂
Though we love animals, we respect guests who are allergic to them. So, please leave your pets at home. You deserve a break on your own.
Edison’s Inn is a non-smoking zone, but there are lots of beautiful outdoor walking paths in the area.
Unfortunately no, there is no elevator in the building.
There is a bike ring in the parking area, but no indoor bike parking spots.
Lost an item or left it behind? We’ll message the housekeeper to check for any belongings left behind.
We do not offer breakfast. There are several excellent cafes and restaurants within a short walking distance on Ontario, York Street and in downtown Stratford.
